Your house looks amazing. I have a question did you paint the writing on the staircase wall or did you order it and stick it to the wall? If you stuck it on the wall is your wall smooth or like rough? I'm curious because I want to do something similar to that not on my staircase though on a different wall with photos.

GREAT interview! I've recently stumbled across your blog, and bookmarked it at hello. You have a beautiful home, and the fact that you've only become acquainted with power tools in the last 5 years is very encouraging. I have a lot to learn..... (My MIL is currently trying to teach me how to sew. My husband still has to help me thread the machine.) And, I must say, you truly have a beautiful home!
