The Etsy site is LIVE!

Whew, that took FOREVA. I just got all my listings up on my new Etsy site! Sheesh, that wasn't quick. But it was kinda fun! To get to the shop, click here.

Here's a sampling of my favorites...

I am SO IN LOVE with these vintage snack plates. I have a few different plates listed, but this design is my favorite:
I'm determined to gather enough of these to use for my small get togethers from now on. I feel like such an adult!! HA! So if none of you want these, that's OK. ;) I think they are gorgeous.

The aqua Ball jars with zinc lids are the most beautiful color I've ever seen:
I have a few available, both with lids and without.

I couldn't resist this green compote:
Again, if you don't want it, that's OK. :)

And my favorite item, my little "Treat" jars. I made a set of these last year and thought I would see if any of any of you wanted them too:
They are perfect for little Halloween candy of all sorts, and the lids make you work to get to the candy, which is not a bad thing. :)

If you like them, I'll make more! I have a few other items to list and a few items I'm reworking to list soon. Also, I am doing flat rate shipping for these items, at least to start. If I find the item costs way less or way more to ship, I will adjust the shipping cost and will contact the buyer personally. I hope you bear with me. I don't want either of us to get screwed on shipping. :) (Etsy does not figure shipping based on location, it's just a flat rate.)

OH YEAH, and I am determined to make sure nothing in the shop costs more than $20 (before shipping). I will do my best to stick to that.

Click here to get to the shop! Enjoy!

How fun! Love it all. I actually have those same rectangle glass plates and the oval ones. I love using them for parties!

By the way, in answer to your question about vintage and etsy, I'm pretty sure your items have to be vintage or handmade. It says on the do's & don'ts and I think it says how many years old they need to be. I can't remember now though.

good luck!

Love the snack plates, especially the rectangular ones in your Etsy shop. Would shipping to Canada be a ridiculous price? I have never ordered off of Etsy for fear of shipping prices. Any Canadians out there that have experience with shipping and duty from Etsy retailers?

Way to go on your Etsy shop! I'm sure it and you will be a HUGE success! ;o)

Congrats & good luck!

Etsy states that vintage must be at least 20 years old (the items do NOT hand to be handmade). If the item is both handmade AND vintage, be sure to list it that way as it usually crates more of a demand.

If the item is handmade it can be sold no matter how old it is.

Can't wait to take a look at your shop. I know there is a set of those exact same oval plates at my mom's house somewhere! They were my grandmother's and I remember her using them at parties. Love the green compote too.

I love the luncheon plates. LOVE them...the oval swirly ones, the rectangle ones...I love them all.

Problem is, I have *no* use for them. Oh, I know--use them for parties. But the kind of parties we have, don't call for luncheon plates! (and before you tell me, "well, have one of those kind of parties!", let me assure you, it wouldn't work.

That doesn't mean that I don't have three punch bowls, incl one that converts from a covered cake plate to a punch bowl. And a whole array of platters, and my antique good china that I've bought off of ebay and at antique shops, etc. Which I use as often as I can.

But oh, I'm going to have to go look now, and see what else you've got going on in your etsy shop (and congrats on the sale!).

Congratulations on the store. I'm gonna have to go have a look.

I have some of those blue ball jars. What do you suggest for them, besides display? I'm all for showing them off but they need to do more than collect dust!

I need you to make more of those treat jars, as they are adorable. And I want to buy a few sets for myself, family and friends.

But you need to ship to Canada! Can that be done, somehow?

Thanks!
