June before and after Party!

beforeAndAfterButton

Helloooo! It’s that time again! Another month has come and gone and we’re here again to show off your before and afters. I can’t wait to see what you’ve come up with this month. :)

First, as always, I want to share a few of the awesome projects from last month’s party. It’s always so hard to narrow the highlights down to just a few – I’m always blown away by your talent!

We’ll kick it off with yet another fantastic kitchen makeover, this one at Aimee’s – here’s the before:

And the after:

white kitchen redo

Just beautiful!! Wow. That is a big transformation. And those are the same cabinets – see how they made over this space here.

I have a thing about penny floors and counters. I just think they are the coolest. So I let out a little squeal when I saw Ashley’s countertop:

I think that is so fun!

Another kitchen redo that I love is Cassie’s – I love her dark cabinets and gray backsplash!:

You can see more details of her kitchen here.

Beth made some very simple changes to her front porch to get it ready for spring:

I especially love how she did that cute mat! See how she did it here.

I have laundry rooms on my brain lately. Once I finish up the baseboards in the basement (almost done!) I’m starting on the laundry room. WHOO! So I was pretty excited to see this Ballard Designs drying rack knock off:

The instructions are detailed and I’m thinking I’m going to have to try this one out. :)

Cristina’s thrifty bathroom makeover is one of the best I’ve seen:

She used touches of orange and aqua just perfectly – it’s a beautiful room!

Finally, I had to share Ashleigh’s sweet painted vases in all of their pretty colors:

Aren’t they beautiful? You can see her how-to here.

Wow, awesome stuff, I tell you! (As always, please go to the specific blogs if you’d like to pin a project!)

Now it’s time to see what you’ve been up to! If you’d like to be considered for a highlight, please link to TDC using this button:

  16. I just have to tell you this... you know how you go to some place familiar and it feels good, like maybe moms kitchen table and she's had it a while and she could change it but it's perfect the way it is... why change? Well that is how I feel when I click on your blog, you could change it every other month and do the same exact colors and backgrounds that everyone else does and leave blogger because it isn't the working for you anymore but you don't. I don't know if you are even considering these things but let me just tell you that not only are you a breath of fresh air in decorating but just how you handle your blog. I am sure it is a challenge because you could get bigger and bigger and bigger and pretty soon what drew us to you in the beginning is no longer who you are, but you don't, and I appreciate that more than you know Sarah! Thank you!!!! just saying :)

  18. Love this party! I'm linking up my living room (finally got hte toys cleared out to take pictures!) and it has a similar charcoal wall color to your proposed office in the basement. Also linking up my library, with Tiffany blue walls, like the featured laundry room, I love that color, it always makes me smile! Have a great night (or morning, since you are probably asleep by now, no teething baby for you).

  26. Hello there- I love your blog and think this before and after post is amazing! I got very excited and poted my own chair makeover (number 411) and for some silly reason added my own name instead of the name of the project! Oh dear!

Please can you change the name to 'elegant dining chair makeover' or delete it fully so I can re add it?

Thank you so much and really sorry to mess it up!
