Your beautiful bedrooms makeovers

October 26, 2012

SO many pretty spaces and great ideas – let’s take a look at a few!

And last but not least, this gorgeous master bedroom makeover had to be included:
soothing master bedroom with pinks and blues

I just loved the use of soft, soothing colors and metal accents throughout. She did a great job creating a serene, soothing bedroom.

I think I caught my mouth hanging open when I saw Kristin’s beautiful space:

yellow gray bedroom

She did such a great job at making this a cozy space, even with the cooler, lighter colors.

And I LOVED how she worked her TV into the decor so I had to share that too:

art around TV

Brillz. The layered look behind the TV is awesome. So doing this.

I think I may have shared Mary’s awesome drapes before, but take a look at them in this room!:

stenciled drapes

So pretty! That mirror and the lamps paired with the beautiful hydrangeas are all gorgeous. You can see more of her space here.

I love this teen room Julie created for her son:

Pottery barn chalkboard knock off

And I LOVE that chalkboard knock off they made! I think boy’s rooms are especially hard, so I love sharing boy room ideas. :)

Vel had a big wall behind her bed to contend with, so she used painters tape and some paint to create some interest:

graphic rug gray white

This gives me an idea for the big wall in our bedroom! I’ve been trying to figure out a way to make it less BIG and more cozy.

Kelly’s bedroom is so serene and pretty and I loved her DIY touches:

pallet art

The painted furniture, the pallet art – it’s all so well done! The window above the bed is so pretty too.

This bedroom makeover by Pam is absolutely stunning:

light bedroom with coral

Just gorgeous, right? And the bed is in front of the windows – don’t be afraid to try that out if you have an awkward space!

The stenciled wall in Kate’s room makes a beautiful statement:

damask stencil wall

Love how the bedding works with the wall too.

And finally, I love color in a kid’s room and this nursery over at Megan’s had me smiling big time:

butterfly mobile pink blue nursery

So sweet, so vibrant, but not over the top. The chalkboard is fun too!

Tricia's built in window bed had me immediately. How COOL is this??

The lights, the wood wall with the white dressers...I love every bit. I'd gladly sleep there!
Angela puts most IKEA Rast makeovers to shame with this one:

We have similar IKEA dressers in our master and I'm planning a project like this. I'm happy to see how beautiful they look! :)

My friend Beth did such a lovely job on their master bedroom -- can you believe that is wall paper and not molding behind the bed?
Wallpaper that looks like molding

I love how she worked those cabinets to look like custom pieces too.

This shed that Tricia made over as a guest house is unreal! I absolutely love it! So many great details  -- check out how they did that "metal" bracket:

They really thought of everything. Love every bit. Wonder if we can build a shed in our new backyard?

Angela shared her pretty bedroom makeover:
Everything is so light and beautiful...what a lovely space to sleep in!

And last but not least, Sarah never disappoints -- she did such a lovely job on her guest room redo:
navy blue accents guest room

I think pops of dark blue make such a beautiful accent in just about any space. All of Sarah's bedrooms are gorgeous!

I've been watching Sage's guest room progress and absolutely LOVE this space:

You have to go see two things -- the before pictures and the beautiful map wall in this space. LOVE!

Autum and her family turned a (barely) finished space into a perfectly lovely little apartment for her daughter:

Isn’t that wall fantastic? There’s even a little kitchenette – the whole space is full of innovative ideas. Check out their before and after here.

I LOVE Joan’s pallet wood wall in her bedroom:

Wood walls make a space feel so warm and cozy, I will never tire of them. She gives great instructions in that post!

Abby shared a beautiful master bedroom redo:

white and navy bedroom

I love how she worked in the navy blue throughout the space. She shares some pretty furniture redos as well.

First up, Beth used touches of coral in her guest room and it turned out so pretty and fresh:
Gray and coral room
I loved it paired with the light gray walls. I also love that she carved an office space out of this room too – and you’ll have to check out the bed! It makes me want to go stay for a week or so. :)

We’ve talked about the power of a neutral wall before – I loved the color Sarah was able to add to this room with just pillowsNavy headboardA neutral wall sure does make it so easy to change up a room down the line. I’m trying to do this more and more in our house.
