We've made it a tradition to go every year for the past two years for our anniversary, and haven't even thought about going anywhere else since! We also stayed at the Polynesian last year and fell in love!! There are countless restaurants, rides & attractions that we love, so I couldn't even begin list them all, but so glad you have found the magic of Disney! And no shame in crying- I think I have cried every single trip, and during "American Adventure" or "Hall of Presidents," I think I've caught my husband getting a little teary also. :)Ashley Joneshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06683271521388102056noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7781670590071996754.post-13479918047687065052013-06-19T14:49:53.380-04:002013-06-19T14:49:53.380-04:00OHHHH yes, we are Disney Obsessed...how much? We will be going back in 2014 for our 10 year anniversary and vow renewal! It truly is a magical place! Our favorite time of year to go is in September and we usually go for 10 days. That is not fun to me at all! It's not really a vacation if you have to plan what you are doing at what time and what you are eating months in advance. It's good to know you all had fun with no prior planning!Jennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00342467790727259855noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7781670590071996754.post-23050312118900511952013-06-14T09:10:07.424-04:002013-06-14T09:10:07.424-04:00Disney during the holidays is absolutely magical! ...Disney during the holidays is absolutely magical! BUT don't go during the two weeks of Christmas and New Years. We made the mistake of going then and it was soooo crowded, we couldn't do anything. We managed maybe 2 rides a day with 3 hour waits for each and getting through the people was a nightmare. If you can pull your son from school, try to go on the off weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas if you want the Christmas experience. :)sherylhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10484859582286221395noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7781670590071996754.post-72243579418836078662013-06-13T12:35:56.387-04:002013-06-13T12:35:56.387-04:00We did not but heard it was amazing! I am lucky enough to have friends that work at Disneyland, so it helps to be able to utilize their discount. :) We went for the first time 5 years ago during the Food & Wine Festival and it was so much fun (during the end of October and beginning of November and it was not very busy). Even my friend that works for Disneyland and usually doesn't like to spend too much time in the parks - she LOVED it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that she'll agree to another trip this Fall. It's really great! I grew up and live in So CA - we have annual passes for Disneyland. It's really neat to see the differences between both places. They're the same, but different! :) Welcome back to CA in July and definitely get to Cars Land! Just a head's up, for the Radiator Springs Racers ride, you have to get a Fastpass first thing in the morning, otherwise it's sold out by 10-10:30am. And the regular wait time is always between 90-180 minutes! It's definitely a great ride, but that's a long time to wait!Chrissy @ Adventures in DIYhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14545659482502816536noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7781670590071996754.post-67483331547378557132013-06-12T19:46:43.553-04:002013-06-12T19:46:43.553-04:00I think I am more floored that your hubby was a BA...I think I am more floored that your hubby was a BAND director and you never ever went to Disney for Magic Music Days! Walt himself opened it and it is just sooo magical (to me.) The weather in SoCal is SO much more mild. I have been to Disney World once and the horrible downpours and humidity aren't my favorite it's also just soo big. Even for a newbie Disneyland is doable in 3 days. There's a Lego Land in Cali too;)

I went for the Halloween Bash in October and I HIGHLY recommend you take the little one within the next few years. Trick-or-treating at Disneyland? THE BEST. Also, what girl doesn't dream of being a Princess at Disney? It is the ONLY time adults can dress as Princess' to the parks and the Cast Members treat you accordingly.

AHHH So giddy. LOVEEEEE DISNEY! My husband and I will be headed back in August for trip #40...and no, we don't live close. We travel down from PA. It is just that we are never disappointed. We have gone many, many times while our 2 daughters were growing up. We have begun in the last 10 years going alone, and it is a whole different, just as wonderful experience. But, the in the last 6 years we have gotten to go twice, with first our granddaughter and then with her and her little brother. Being there with our kids, and our grandkids, was magical. Can't wait to go again with them next summer...P.S. When the parks are decorated for the holidays is absolutely incredible. It is truly an experience like no other. If you can manage it, go back then.Debbiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15540367866913705281noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7781670590071996754.post-17314997085115389332013-06-11T19:35:50.535-04:002013-06-11T19:35:50.535-04:00I love love love it as well.
